    The Intent-Based Bot Templates & Custom Prompt Mode feature offers a streamlined approach to configuring your AI chatbot's responses. This feature allows you to choose between using Platform Templates or Custom Prompts, providing flexibility in how you manage your bot's interactions.
    Platform Templates

    Platform Templates are recommended for users who want to leverage best practices without manual configuration. They automatically apply an intent-based system, tailoring the bot's behavior to Sales, Support, or Informational intents:
    • Sales Intent: Follows a 3-phase conversation flow (Orientation → Exploration → Readiness), suitable for lead generation bots.
    • Support Intent: Focuses on resolution with empathy, ideal for customer service applications.
    • Informational Intent: Delivers neutral, fact-based responses derived from your knowledge base.


    The system automatically determines the intent based on your bot's settings:
    • Lead collection enabled or sales template selected results in Sales mode.
    • Agent-assisted or customer-facing templates result in Support mode.
    • All other settings default to Informational mode.


    Behavior settings such as tone, response length, and lead capture mode are applied automatically, ensuring optimal performance.
    Custom Prompts

    For advanced users, the Custom Prompts option offers complete control over your bot's personality and operational guidelines. You can define:
    • Identity & Voice: Specify your bot's name, personality traits, expertise, and communication style.
    • Business Rules: Set specific guidelines, restrictions, and instructions for operations.


    Note that behavior settings like tone presets take precedence over custom instructions to prevent accidental overrides.
