How to Upload Documents
To upload documents to your bot's knowledge base, start by navigating to the bot configuration page within your AI Chat For Business dashboard. Click on the 'Knowledge Base' tab, which will display your current documents and a button to add new ones.
For web scraping, go to the same 'Knowledge Base' tab and find the option to add URLs. Enter the URL of the website you want your bot to scrape for information. This is useful for gathering information that updates frequently, such as product listings or blog posts.
- Click the 'Upload Document' button. You can upload files in various formats, including PDF, TXT, DOCX, and MD. For example, if you have a PDF containing FAQs for your business, select that file from your computer and click 'Open'. The document will be processed and added to your bot's knowledge base.
- After uploading, you can view your documents in the list. Each document is indexed for semantic search, making it easy for your bot to retrieve relevant information during conversations. Ensure that your documents are well-structured and contain clear, concise information to improve the accuracy of responses.
