Importing Files from Google Drive

Step-by-step guide to importing documents.
Accessing the Importer

1. Navigate to your bot's Knowledge tab
2. Click Import from Google Drive
3. Your Drive folders will appear

Selecting Files

• Click on folders to browse
• Check the box next to files to select
• Select multiple files at once
• Use the search box to find specific files

Import Options
Single Files
Select individual documents for specific topics.
Multiple Files
Select up to 20 files per import batch.
Folders
Note: Folder import is not yet supported. Select files individually.
During Import

• Files are downloaded and processed
• Text is extracted and chunked
• Content is added to your bot's knowledge base
• Progress is shown for each file

After Import

Imported documents appear in your Knowledge list:

• Title from original filename
• Source shows "Google Drive"
• Edit or delete as needed

Best Practices

1. Organize files in Drive before importing
2. Use clear, descriptive filenames
3. Import related documents together
4. Review imported content for accuracy
